Currently in La Cumbre, Argentina

We are riding (2 Honda NX400s) the Central Sierras of Argentina and then up toward Tucuman, and beyond would enjoy your company.

Post here or private message locations and dates.

We do dirt/sand tracks to rivers and archeological sites, camp and trout fish, with a unique Argentine system of converting a spinning reel for fly fishing...... and we try our best to spot UFOs, no luck yet.... GREAT OFF ROAD riding!!!

Ed and Elisa

Anyone in La Cumbre, Argentina?

We are still touring..... Anyone in or near La Cumbre, Argentina and is interested in getting together for a coffee or ... especially if you are interested in antique motorcycles, the Posada Del Museo just opened with a great collection of old bikes and historic motorcycle memorabilia.

Elisa and I are staying until weather clears and it would be great to meet you at the museum cafe. No cover charge for cafe...and it has Wi-Fi.

PM or post here for more info on how to meet up. the Museum is actually in Cruz Grande 3 K out of La Cumbre....easy to find.

Now in Cafayate, Argentina

Thanks Apollo, we did Tucuman and enjoyed it immensely! Then over twisty mountain roads we arrived Tafe del Valle in time for the National Cheese festival, less cheese more festival.

Now we are in Cafayate experiencing another festival, the place is packed with back packers from everywhere. I was very surprized to see so many Argentines "on the road" 60s style.

We will be in Cafayate for the immediate future. we may move here in August. It is a delightful little ttown...

Hope to meet up o the road. Ed and Elisa

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
