Toronto HU meeting then off to South America - any takers

i'm going to the HU meeting in NC sept 7-9, then to the HU meeting in Toronto sept 20-23 and from there heading south

my plan is to store my bike in Uruguay in March, so i'm in no rush, hooking up thru Mexico and Cent. America would be good, i did it last year heading north, getting bored so heading back south

any questions send me a PM

Wrong timing

Hi, I am in Wisconsin and intend to take my 1500 goldwing to South America - Probably Lima Peru and leave it for winter touring. Might be able to get away in late September but intend to just leisurely (3 weeks) get it down there. I do however have numerous questions since you have done it before. I am not good at working these blog sites, but do well with e-mail. tom@markentpersonnel.com

Your idea of leisurely and mine differ greatly, Tom.

Have a safe ride.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
