Crossing CHINA east to west around Oktober 2015 - looking for a group
 

Dear all,

This is my first post on this forum after having read positive things about it. We are in the early stages of planning a trip around the world by 4x4 in 2015. Starting in Switzerland we'll ship to USA and then ship from Seattle to Bangkok. There it will be Cambodia and Laos to China.

The plan is to cross through China with a group to share guide/admin cost on a route roughly like this:

KUNMING - CHENGDU - LANZHOU - HAIXI - TAKLAMAKAN DESERT - URUMQUI to Kasachstan.

Anyone out there having the same ideas? I know it's still early, but I guess you better plan well ahead for an adventure like this.

I'm looking at a UK - USA - Aus - Thailand - China - Mongolia and home ... did you get anywhere with your plans? The whole tour guide thing in China sounds mad but worth it! I'll be on a Suzuki drz400s hopefully leaving UK in March :)
