i just bought a new bike (klr650).....looking to travel around costa rica over the next 2 months or soo.....and possibly head north towards the united states........anyone gonna be around??....any advice?...comment??:Beach:

We (2 riders with chase 4x4) will be in Costa Rica April 14 through the 20. renting Bikes from Costa Rica Motorcycle Tours. Just going down to ride, hang out and try not to let the Howler Monkeys get the best of us.
We would enjoy meeting up with you for beer , lunch or day ride.
We have loose itinerary for the week.

In the mean tim, there was trip report from 2006 on a group of riders that did use Costa Rica Motorcycle tours on the AdvRider.com Web site.
Check it out. It is one reason we have decided to use this company.

Shit yeah, man. I just arrived in San Jose yesterday on my KTM Duke II 640. Changed the rear tyre today, so I´m ready to head out to Dominical on the Pacific coast tomorrow. I´ll be back in San Jose in about 3 days, I guess - then headed north to see some volcanos, then west out to the coast again, Tamarindo, then north via Liberia to the border and into Nicaragua. I´ll be making my way to Canada over the next 3 months through CA and the States.

What do you say about that eh? Keen?
Let me know if you´ve got any plans too, they might be better than mine - I´m flexible.

Sounds good mate, I`ll give you a call when I get back in town on Tuesday. I rode all the way to Dominical today to find not much at all, so headed further up to Jaco. Wasn`t all bad though, I rode the mountain range between San Jose and San Isidro again - it`s awesome during the day. When I came in the first night I couldn`t see shit for the fog.

I like it here in Jaco, good place to chill and re-charge. Oh and I found a massage joint - hell yes.

I called last night, but your mate said to call back in a few hours. However, whilst making that first call, I had my arse groped by a very manly prostitute... which kinda put me off the idea of going back out at 11 and calling again.

Heading out today to do a bit of a volcano tour, and land back in San Jose either Saturday night or Sunday. I`ll try calling you again from the road.
