Hey Transmike, I'm heading that same way with one other guy & 2 bikes. Were first stopping in Creel Copper Canyon Mexico for the HU Meeting Oct 11-13. There should be as much as 200 bikes there with many good ideas and people who are doing the same thing. Maybe see you in Creel. I'm riding a 2004 R1200GS BMW & my buddy is on a R1200RT.

Cheers John.

Hi Michael,
Remember me? Remember we were supposed to ride south together this past June? What happened?

I am making this public because you are not answering my emails. I think these other folks may be interested to know that you left me high and dry at the Mexican boarder in June!
Why did you not show at the campground in Patagonia, Arizona as we planned?

If anyone is interested in the sorid details drop me an email.

Susan

Y'all keep your eyes open for one of them there odd-ball Ducati-powered Cagiva Gran Canyons. After riding out to AMA Congress in OH on October 6, I will be riding down all through Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras and back till the end of the month. I can't wait!

Westsonny. I am planning on Baja too. I will most likely be crossing into T.J. From San Diego on the 21st or so of this month (OCT) and taking the ferry across to Mazatlan 3-5 days later. Will you be around?

In fairness to Transmike, I should tell you that he wrote last week. to He had serious engine trouble last June and that was why he didn't make the meeting at the campground as planned.

Deb & Dave Welton here. We are 3 months into our trip to South America. In Tucson, AZ and leaving for Mexico Oct 7. Anyone is welcome to join us enroute if they don't mind traveling slow. Probably going through Chihuahua, Durango, then down the west coast. Stopping in Antigua, Guatemala for a week or two for Spanish lessons.

Deb and Dave- I'm doing the same route, at the same easy pace. I'm sure our paths will cross- just keep an eye out for my blaze orange jesse bags! I plan to do a 3 day cooking school in Oaxaca on the way to Central America. The problem with Mexico and C.A. is easy- there's too much to see and do! See you on the road, Dave.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
