China in September
We have a tour lined up with China Overland (china overland |china driving Travel |china self-driving) starting September 10 from Erlynhot (at the northern border with Mongolia) to Beijing, Xi'an and Shangai. Arriving in Shanghai on September 28.
Unfortunately the British couple in a car that we were joining have had to pull out of the tour. Because they were in a car the guide was riding with them and we were saving lots of money. I don't have a new quote from China Overland for just the two of us on motorcycles but I'm betting it is going to be expensive and perhaps unaffordable. Paul at China Overland wanted everything by June 10 so that he had three months to obtain all the necessary permits. If you would like to join us on this trip please e-mail, PM or reply to this post ASAP or we might have to scrub the trip. Thanks!

Hi there, are you still planing to go trough China? I would be eventualy interested as I plan to be in Mongolia during that time... All depend of the cost, I am a solo rider and could "possibly" two up with the guide...
