hey everyone,

we are planning a trip from the UK back to Australia in a 4wd and we are looking to meet up with other people for the China leg of the journey, to minimise costs basically. we plan on doing things by the book - being turned back at the border is not really a desirable option for us.

not the best time of the year for that part of the world, but we plan on keeping prices down by camping where possible or staying in budget accomodation.

am heading that direction early spring 08 on 2 wheels via china down to southeast asia. will be interested to hear your plans for the china leg. when do you plan to be at the khazak china border ??
