I'm heading south in fall 2012 as well. I'll be doing Alaska etc in June/July as a trial run and to meet up for the Dust 2 Dawson gathering on June 21st/22nd in Dawson City. I'm planning to head for TDF in the Fall and will be traveling with an interest in seeing the sights and getting off the beaten trail with no real time-frame (aside from making it to TDF before money runs out!). I'm an adventurous sort, like to have a good time, and am always up for something new. Optimally I would love to spend a good amount of time in South America and hopefully head out to the east coast and see some of the less traveled sights over there as well. More than happy to meet up with any other like-minded folks!

Here's another one thinking of doing the same, down on the west coast and back up on the east. We'll have to try to keep this thread going.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
