Puerto Vallarta on Friday 15th

Hugo,

I'm sorry to miss a fellow biker! I will be in Puerto Vallarta on Friday, Feb 15th, albeit without a moto. Going to get some dental work done..

Where are you planning to go down south? What are you riding? I've lived in Peru most of my life and motoed all over including Brazil and Bolivia. Around the Block 2007 | Is there any way I can advise you?

Glad to help, Toby (charapa)

Been a while

Mollydog,

Ive air freighted 13 bikes into Peru over the years, but they were all into the jungle (tax free) and it has been a while. I used to run a National Circuit Motocross in Pucallpa, Peru. One of those (a Honda XR650L) was for a friend that keeps it available for me whenever I come back, so I havent shipped anything lately. Sorry. Also, my contacts for that kind of thing is in the jungle (Iquitos and Pucallpa)

Rge dental work is going well. I used to do it on my trips to Peru, but here in Mexico they have holistic dentistry which is much better. I am Mercury-free now!!!

Toby

I´am very sorry Toby, i did not have much time with all those border crossing to check horizons.
I pal up with an old guy like me just before Panama, we had a few problems

Where you at

Hugo ,

Heading north and at Turillo Peru for a day or so .. then on to Mancoura beach and into equador. Sounds like you might be in the neighbourhood. If so drop me a line and stop by for a cold one . I wouldn,t mind hearing about your experiances coming south.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
