Central America-Mexico-Usa

hello everyone,
you may have seen my posts recently, gathering information about traveling through central america.
anyway, the help i have recieved through this site has been a tremendous help....people have great knowledge about travel here.
i am leaving from costa rica this wednesday june 6th by myself , but would love some company along the way to ride with , either by bike or car.
part of the way or all would be fine.
i am planning on taking the panam all the way to el salvador and then route 2, along the coast all the way to mexico.
when in mexico, my current plan is to get to mazatlan, and take the ferry over to baja......spend some time there and driving north to the states. however, i am open to suggestion on different routes or time tables allowed or preffered by other riders.
my email is wolnek@yahoo.com
i look forward to meeting some of you along the way.
thanks , dave
p.s.... i have klr 650:scooter:

Hwy 200 in Mexico might cook your cajones this time of year.
If it becomes too hot, run mountain routes.

Mex 200 temperatures

Don't worry too much about heat along the Pacific Coast, develop a sense of perspective and adapt to the conditions .Just now checked www.weatherunderground .com and see that all along the coast this morning temps range between 28C and 30C, at 11:45. Consider that it may rise a bit more during the afternoon ,expect a max of around 35C .To my way of thinking this is ideal motorcycle riding weather. Also the afternoon now will usually see the cloud banks building over the mountains and giving overcast sky to the coast strip, with often the potentioal for some thundershowers. Again with such temps it is actually fun to ride through the rain- but look ahead if you can see the other side of the shower or you may not dry out after. With the rainy season all the scrubby bush to seaside is now probably back in green leaves.
The really hot stuff , between 35C and 45C and more if you happen to hit a heat wave, is apt to be found much farther north along Mex 15 in the flat desert stretches of Sinaloa, Sonora and in Baja along Mex 1.
In such weather you can quench your thirst at many locations along the way at small refreshment stores , Pemex convenience stores and supermarkets selling water, bottled and canned cold juice and dairy.Carry a few liters of water in case you get really thirsty before you reach the next supply point.
