Going through Europe to SA

Hi everyone I'm heading off from the UK on the 19th of Sep and spending a month travelling to meet up with friends in Turkey to travel onto SA. Wondering if anyone on here might be keen for a bit of riding? I'm going to be rough camping and keeping accommodation costs low. Will be heading through France, Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey.

Get in contact and lets get some adventuring done :-)

Tam

Presently 2 int. bikers in the club here and will pass through Syria 15-20 days later on the way to SA. after completing their Turkey trip.
(Akçakale Border Gate)
Probably 2 members of us will be together with them. They are almost ready for the trip from Adana to SA. ( 2 doctors by BMW) and this international biker group may be more crowded for safety until Egypt exit..

We highly recommend you to be group biker through Syria and hope the situation will be more clear next week.(At the moment all bordergates from Turkey to Syria are closed even for family visits and situation is very critical in Syria)

Will be pleasure to meet you at our club for welcome drinks and adventure talks.Lets keep in touch.

Wish you all the best.

Jordan ?

Make sure your bike is allowed into Jordan if it is on your travel plan.
I was not allowed to take my scooter into Jordan in 2008.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
