Canada to Mexico to Canada Mar 07
 

Hello All

Andy and I will be travelling from Ontario to Mexico Pacific coast, copper canyon, Baja and back to Canada. Leaving 29 Mar 06, riding a Dl1000 (blue) and St1100 (red). Interested in meeting other riders along the way. Are there many fellow riders traveling in the area at that time? Any problem areas in Mexico to stay away from?

Hi Darryl; My wife and I will be in San Miguel in Mar. so meeting up is probably out of the question. Have you been before? Copper Canyon area is absolutely beautiful, and the trip through Parral, Durango, and on to Mazatlan ( Devils Backbone) is a must not miss! Crossing at Presidio Tx is a good crossing point for that route,if that is what your doing. The border crossing is small and less confusing than some. The Three Palms Inn, in Presidio is a good place to leave your pick up or car,unless you are riding the trip,so much the better.
I'm sure others more informed than I will chime in. Mexico is a wonderful country with great people. Treat them with respect and you will receive in kind.

South Western Mexico 3rd week March
 

Around the third week of March we should be traveling up the west coast of Mexico, to Mazatland and then ferry over to the Bahja, continuing North through the US to Canada. On our return from Tierra del Fuego. Let touch base again in March.

Crossing on ferry to Maztlan Feb 24 for Central America roundtrip
 

Eh there, I will be leavin feb 24 for mainland onroute to central america,anyone travelin thru baja sur south of la paz on pacific stop and visit. looking to travel with 2 or 3 others .
