buenos aires to BC canada march - september 2011

My girlfriend have been travelling around the world for almost 2 years now. We are planning on finishing our trip by travelling overland by motorcycle from buenos aires to kamloops BC where we live. We would like to meet other people to ride with along the way. We plan to arrive from New Zealand in Buenos Aires around the beginning of march. We will then need a bit of time to sort out a bike there. Not sure if that will be easy. We are planning on taking about 6 months for this trip spending most of it in south and central america. Anyone who is planning something similar let us know and perhaps we can ride together. We are both currently learning spanish, have been living on the road for 2 years, in over 30 countries, I am a mechanic and have been building and riding bikes since i got my licence. our names are dan and sarah.
cheers
dan

Adding a third wheel?

Hey Dan, Sarah,

I'm aiming to fly into BA on 2nd April, then drive South to Tierra del Fuego and trying to hit Deadhorse, Alaska by the first week of August... it might be a bit of a push but I start my desk job in mid-August and need another adventure before the chains are clamped to my ankles!

Sounds like you'll be doing something similar, maybe a little slower, so hopefully our paths will cross. If you've been travelling for such a long time I assume you'll be buying a bike in Argentina?

Keep in touch.

Pryd

Hey Dan,
I'll depart from Buenos Aires to Torres del Paine/Ushuaia about March 5, now solo.
Keep in touch, might be part of the way we travel together.
Cheers,
Mel.

Hello

Hey Dan,

My name is Dan my girlfriend Claire and I have been traveling RTW for the last year and a half. We are done our trip and heading back to Vancouver. If you want to hang out in Van let us know. We have a place to stay for you but you'll probably be chomping at the bit to get home by then.

We head up to Kamloops all the time and would love to meet someday and exchange some tall tales.
