Bolivia - Chile Lagunas Route in September/October
 

I'm planning to ride the lagunas route from the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia) to Chile. I've heard there is lots of great riding in the area off the normal tourist 4x4 route....but the remote location means it isn't safe to go alone. Anyone interested in teaming up for this stretch?

I'm riding a lighlty loaded Kawasaki KLR650 and have lots of dirt experience, but not much time riding in sand (though I don't expect that to be a problem). I am currently in Peru (Bolivia within 2 weeks as my visa is expires then) and will likely reach the Salar de Uyuni in Late September or sometime in October.
