Bolivia April/May 2001

Hi,
I am planning a trip to Bolivia next year. It will be just a short 3 week vacation. I intend to go from La Paz to Uyuni (Saltlake) then to Potosi, Sucre and Cochabamba before returning to La Paz. The paved roads will be less than 50%, with some sandy sections, washboard and rivercrossings.
I am looking for someone to travel with.
For those, who do not have a bike in Southamerica;-), there is a possibilty to rent an Africa Twin, Tenere or XR250 for the trip at Nosiglia Sport in La Paz.
Anybody interested?
Werner

Here-here. I'm searching for travel options in the upcoming months. What do the rental options for the XR look like? Don't really want to ship my XT (abused as it is already) to Bolivia for just 3 weeks.

Hi Emil,

no problem to rent a XR250, or Tenere or Africa Twin in La Paz. Check out Walter Nosiglias Honda shop. He rents out these three motorcycles. Prices start, I think, at 50$ per day. Best would be to mail him in spanish nossport@ceibo.entelnet.bo or check his website www.nmadventures.com

Dear Werner,

Although you have written to me previously I did not know you were a friend of Ralf "Rallerastlos" Enders. We had met him in Bolivia last year and we now met recently in Costa Rica. Last I heard he's making cakes in Liberia. He told me to say hello to you if I wrote or met you on the road.

We are currently in Huaraz, Peru. We are having problems with the rainy season. It seems to be impossible to get away from the rain once you hit the mountains. This means we will keep moving south and will most likely be in La Paz around the same time you are. I don't have your email...

Drop us a line.

Gonzalo
