Big Bend Texas
Hi all,
Right now I am in San Antonio and will be on the way to Big Bend tomorrow. It will take me propably 2 days to get there. Is anyone is around? Would be greate to meet. Hold the rubber down Mike

i suppose you are there now and there should be plenty of motorcyclist to meet up with - if you ride over to Presidio on the river road which i highly reccomend and you like mexican food there is a little "hiddedn" out of the way mexican restaurant that we really like with ice cold  - the name isEscondida - if interested e-mail me at steve.davison@sksupply.com and i will explain how to get there steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the info, but I past Big Bend already, it was defenetly to hot to do more than driving. I did the 170 along the river. With this road I had more fun driving than in Big Bend. But the views in Big Bend are fantastic. Yesterday I drove to Fort Davis and put the tent up at Davis Mountain Statepark. Nice cool place, the elevation is 1600 meter. And also the roads in the Statepark are grate. Today I passed Guatelupe and joint the Calsbad Carverns. Right now I am looking for aliens in Rosswell. Tomorrow I go to Withe Sands. Im glad to see you are having a good trip. Big Bend area is quite unique and one of my favorite ride destinations. When I was a teenager my brothers and I rode to Big Bend in August and it was unbearably hot !! Anyway be safe and enjoy your ride. steve
