Is someone interested in going to Viedma, Argentina from Santiago, Chile riding one of my Yamaha Super Tenere XTZ750 bikes while I ride the other? Will have to pay my expenses (fuel, lodging and food) plus a small daily amount to cover bike wear. Have plenty of time and would continue to Ushuaia. Cheers,

Hi Alec: Since the meeting is December 16 thru 18 and elections day in Chile is the 11th, I was planning to depart Santiago wednesday 14 with a first stop near Mendoza, Argentina and next day to Viedma with probably a night in Neuquen. It all depends on travel circumstances. Please tell me with sufficient time which are your plans and if this time schedule is convenient.

How much do you want per day for your bike?

Only USD 60 per day. Covers oil filter change, tire, chain and sprockets wear. Not covered are damages caused by falls or accidents. It is a gentlemen agreement because there is no insurance involved (no motorcycle insurance in Chile... so no one rents bikes). Regards, Roberto

The USD$60 cover the lended bike wear (sprockets, chain, tires, oil, filter, etc) and my services, as personal guide, are covered by paying my expenses riding on my bike (fuel, food and lodging/camping). Not covered are damages by accidents and of course your personal expenses. Hope this clears your doubts as much as possible.
