I'm planning to be in Cape Town for Christmas/New Year. I'm in Malawi now and Mozambique for all of November. Haven't seen another bike for ages so I'd love to drink beer and swap falling-off anecdotes. I think the email button at the top of this works...

Hello there

I'm on the way to Cape Town on GS1150. I've started from Prague on September 26 and right now I'm in Jordan in Wadi Musa/Petra. I've planned for the trip to last 6 months - but now I expect approximatelly 5 months.

From your post, as well as from replies to it I gathered that most of the people plan to do it rather faster, so maybe I'm not the right companion for you. Nevertheless should you or anyone reading this be ready to make it in a bit of slower tempo I will definitely welcome oppportunity to team with somebody at least for some bits of the trip (especially for some off-roading, even though GS and my skills will be definitelly limiting factor in this).

Anyway good luck and hope to see you somewhere on the way.
