Argentina + Route 40 ( 5000kms)
 

Hi11 there. I'm planing to make the route in march from la quiaca to ushuaia in a month or so. Right now I'm alone and my Africa Twin. If there's anyone interested in joining. Wellcome.

I'm right now in Junin de los Andes, and will drive a bit more to the south. Then I will switch to Chile, Chaiten, take a ferry to Chiloe, drive upwards to P. Montt and then also to Ushuaia. Could be possible that we will meet us on the road! I want to drive the Carretera Austral in Chile down till Cochrane and then driving south on the argentine side!

Looks like we might have similar ideas.

I´m in Bariloche today heading south to Ushuaia. I was planning to go down RN40 a bit more, possibly cross country to Comodoro Rivadavia, then RN3 to Rio Gallegos, down to Ushuaia.

Then back up the RN40, cross into Chile near Cochrane then up the Carretera Austral to Puerto Montt. Might even go down from Cochrane to Villa O´Higgins to start from the bottom.

I´m on a Transalp (Argentinian Number plates).

I am currently in Chiloe headed south and crossing by ferry to do the Austral toward Ushuaia, possibly visiting Antarctica. Should make it to Ushuaia before the end of Feb. unless i get blown away by the wind.

Would love to meet up with you guys somewhere somehow. I got a Korean 125 so i might not be moving as fast as you all though.
