Argentina/Chile at October 2005?
we are looking for a Motocycle-driver, who is more or less at the middle of october in Argentinien/Chile. We need help for our visa. Our moto stands at Bariloche and the visa is finish at the 20.10.2005. Who can cross our Moto over the border for get a new visa?

Hi Esther:
As my wife told you in a private mail, what you have expired is the temporary importation not the visa, and is non-transferable. The only way is that you cross by other border, say that your temporary importation is over for any excuse (if they ask something) and come back to the country by other border, and then you will have a new temporary importation. As we told you that Eric and Gail can explain you about that. To many other travellers here know that is not a big deal has the temporary importation expired, But nobody can do this instead of you, because nobody can cross an international border with the bike of other person and take a new temporary importation in your name. So if anyone else do that instead of you, you will be putting this traveller in risk. You can do it, is not so difficult. Javier……
