Phoenix to Prudhoe Bay and back in July/Aug

Looking for traveling companion for summer travels to Prudhoe Bay Alaska via Coastal route, return via Rockies. I am an experienced motorcycle rider and you should be as well. I ride a BMW GS1150 Adventure and only ride on small roads, no highways. Compatibility is the most important criteria for a riding mate, so please tell me a bit about yourself. I speak German, English and French and welcome any culturally diversified individual. I will depart in the 3rd week of July and return late Aug. Naturally you should be able to carry your own weight financially. I like staying in simple hotels and motels, campsites or here and there in the wild. I intend to do some hikes along the way as well.

I did this route last year

I did your route last year and had a blast. I was gone almost 2 months and was riding a 1200GS. You're going to have a blast!
If you have any questions about any of the routes or places let me know.

You can reach me at jay401336@gmail.com

I have similar plans

I am hoping to do an Alaska trip this summer. I ride a V-Strom 650. I've
been across the US several times, all on pavement. Also been riding some desert dirt roads in southern Az. recently. Your trip outline roughly matches
my plans. If you'd like to talk further, contact me at jcm5348@gmail.com

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
