Anyone else in Peru?
Hey friends,
I´m in Huanchaco right now, near Trujillo. I´ll head south, towards Huaraz, in the next few days. I began this trip in New Jersey. I spent 5 months in Central America, 10 months in Colombia and a few weeks in Ecuador. I´ve been in Peru for 2 months, so far. I hope to be in Argentina by December or January. I move pretty slowly most of the time. If you plan to visit Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, etc., drop me an email. It´s always nice to meet fellow travelers. Not in Peru now (actually I'm in NC to speak at the HUMM), but Peru is my home. Lived there 30 years, what can I help you with?? Will be back there on a 5,000 km ride in June 2009...

Very soon I will
Hey,
no need to say you are taking your time. I live in the North of Chile and have been to Perú a couple of times. I´m planning to get there in the middle of August , but not certain about the route yet. If you are close to Huaraz, go to cordillera blanca through el cañón del Pato. That´s really something. On your way south you must get to Colca canyon as well: From there go to Cusco. My advise is to skip Chile and go to Bolivia and get to Argentina by La Quiaca. We might meet somewhere. Cheers,
