Cool Anyone for Delhi-Ladakh June-July '08?

Hi all.

I'm Spanish and i'm arriving to Delhi on 7th June. I'm getting an Enfield and go up to Ladakh via Manali. I want to visit Leh, Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri, Nubra Valley and so on ... In a month more or less i have to come back to Delhi, maybe via Srinagar.

If anyone is doing the same route the same time we can do it together. I'm open-minded and like to travel without any hurry, enjoying everything i find on the route.

See you on the road. Cheers!

Hey mate,

Currently in western Kazakhstan, waiting for my riding partner to ship back to UK after breaking his foot, so will be going it alone to Mongolia, but plan to ship to Delhi around June, so we can kepp in touch nearer the time...

I'm riding a Yamaha XT660R, which seems the perfect bike so far.

Read the blog at MotoNick.com

Cheers,

Nick

Hey mates!

I'm arriving to delhi june 7th and will be there more or less a week ( time to get and arrange a bike) and then will go up to Leh via Chandigarh. Once based in Leh, want to make short trips to that mentioned places.

I have to come back to delhi 15th july, so that's a month to see nice places. Nick, Joe, ( or anyone else) if it fits to your travel schedule, it would be great to share roads with you.

See you, keep in contact.

delhi boys

As I think I mentioned to you by email Joe, I'm planning to be in Delhi mid June, looking around 12th-15th or something around there. Obviously dependent on how easy it is to crate and get the bike on a plane etc, and fares. Not sure whether coming from Almaty or Bishkek.
Anyway, the long and short of it is yeah, looks like there will be a couple of us converging on Delhi around the same time, so should definitely meet up.

Bibote, what's your email. PM it to me.

Nick

Hi all.

Nick, i cannot send PMs until i have wrote 8 posts, so PM me your mail and keep in contact. But if you are in Delhi at that dates, surely we can go Ladakh together. I'm contacting some local riders and maybe some of them could join us ( it would be a great help).

Joe, what are you doing? Are you selling your Yam and take another bike? Will you come up to Ladakh?

Cheers.

David.
