Anybody ready for the Simson or Canning Stock route?
Hi there,
I'm going to drive around Australia for 5 months (starting from May). Anyone interested in doing the Canning Stock route in the beginning of July? Simson desert crossing is in the planning after this. Say start of August? Anyone interested in looking at me or lots of sand for the next weeks give me a reply. Will be great (and a lot of fun) if we can form a small group for the crossings. See ya, Roland

Hi Roland,
I have recently checked out conditions of the CSR on the net(www.esplarms.com.au/CSR)and they advise that the track is flooded from well 36 up.The report states that they do not expect it to be open until the end of the year. Good luck with your travells. Regards Bennett.

Thinking of playing in the outback around Oct time if your keen. General direction Perth to Melbourne, but even Darwin might be a detour. Likes - dirt,sand - dislikes, proper roads and speed limits.
