Hello Kimse, I have just this week returned from a RTW bicycle trip which took me through the Altai mts, I vowed to return on a motorcycle when I was there, it really blew me away with it's beauty & endless opportunities for breath taking off roading.I plan to buy another bike in the next week (XR600R). I travel VERY light I hate all the crap that can colect in your panniers ! Kazakstan is another MUST the roads there are amazing & the people incredibly friendly. I would be most interested to know more of you itinerary, regards, john

Please keep us posted on your trip. I'm doing china in 2007 and would be gratful if you let me know how you get on. Are you winging it at the border, or are you going with a guide?

Regards, Baswacky.

Hello Kimse, Allen & Baswacky. It all seems a bit quiet on the message front ? I plan to do a big trip next year having been through KZ, Russia, Mongolia, China & Japan this year on a bicycle. Allen maybe we could meet up in the city or somwhere mid way if you like. I'm having David Lambeth build me a XT 600 overlander but it will be another couple of weeks yet so I would have to catch a train, let me know if your interested. john

Hi all

Back after working hard to get money to payback my bank, the fuel in Turkey cost app. 2,5 USD!!
I you wist, you can see a few pictures here: http://www.tenere.dk/forumnew/forum_...?TID=687&PN=1. In the upcomming wintertime I will make a homepage in english with pictures.

About Siberia. I have not made a totally plan yet. My gold is to leave Denmark around 15 of May and return 15 of june (2006). My idea is to drive, Kazakstan, Altai. Stay in Altai and look at its beauty. Explore the nature and do some off-road driving. Iam openminded to go into Mongolia.
If some people is interested we can make a plan together soo all are happy : )
My written english stink like shit, iam better in spoken english, so please leave a phone number and i will call back.
I cannot wait to leave Denmark agin, and next time its Siberia... : )

Hello Baswacky,

I am planning on driving through Kazachstan, Kirgistan, Mongolia and Siberia in 2007. A trip in the Altay region is also included. Maybe we can meet overthere?

Grtz,
Sjeng.
