Algeria: north-south in October.
I want to travel down through Algeria sometime in October 2007, maybe a little later but certainly not before. My plan is to do a big loop through Africa; Spain, Algeria, Mali, Guinee, Sierra Leone, Liberia etc... and cut across to the east at the most convenient (read safest) point to exit out of Africa at Djibouti. Having just been working in the Sierra Leone/Liberia region for the last year I'm keen to go back to do a few back roads on my trusty Kawasaki. However the tricky part as I see it is the expense of a guide in Algeria and I'm looking for others to help spread the costs. I did read about some others doing the same Algerian trip here on HUBB, but I can't find the post again. I've done a few Africa trips before and am well familiar with the African way of doing things. I'm a Kiwi male on a bike with a smattering of French. I hope someone going my way. Bye for now. Cam.
