Hi All

While in Ak or coming to Ak, I may be able to assist you with some help on various things in AK. I live in Homer, AK and am very familar with the Kenai
Pennisula and have access to a lot of info about all parts of AK. Am planning a trip to Prudhoe Bay asap. Upon return will have more first hand knowledge of the upper end. Meanwhile I can tell you 70% of Dalton Hwy is gravel. There is heavy truck traffic and always animal awareness factor. Be sure to bring Mosquito repellant. If anyone is around Homer, give me a call, my door is always open and I may be of help to you.

I hope to be in AK this time next year. I will be waiting for your report on the Haul Road so I can make plans for what tires to bring.:thumbup1:

Check out the upper end on Google earth, they have some fabulous pic's. You should be able to get a feel for the road conditions. In a few days I'm going to post some more Alaska info on Trip Planning. I think you'll find it interesting.
