Heading your way

Greetings Erik

We are in Seattle and are leaving tomorrow to head further south. Our plan is to visit a few places in the states before making tracks.

We are heading through Oregon send me a PM if you are interested in meeting up for an ale and a yarn.

Regards

Ian J

Hi Ian
I'm in Stamboat Springs, Colorado on a 650 GS. The rides are staggeringly good, the weather cool but sunny. Are you coming this far south? I rode from Prudhoe to Salt Lake City on a bicycle before buying this baby and speeding up. I am on my way to Tierra del Fuego, then New Zealand, Aus, Asia, tibet and on around the world. It will be good if we can connect somewhere

Cheers

David

Greetings Dave

Sorry for the delay we are in San Francisco and are planning on heading east for a bit before swinging back south west to head into Baja. Let us know if we are likely to cross paths.

Ian J

P.S having just been up to Prudhoe in the rain and seeing other people riding bicycles all I could think was "I love my engine". Those days are long gone for me.

Weather in Mex

Hi Ian
Where are you currently, and how's the weather? I'm trying to rationalise my gear to reduce the bulk and the bits under threat are the cold weather gear.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
