Africa eatern route southwards in 1st half of '08?
 

Hi

Is there anyone out there planning on doing this route in the 1st half of '08 or knows of anyone who is? (On two wheels)

I'm looking for people to share Libyan tour guide costs with, or to ride with through some of the bandit areas further south.

In the process of organising a guide for Libya. Intend entering from Tunisia 1st or 2nd week in April '08. Staying for 5 or 7 days.

Am solo on 4 wheels and will be throwing the guide into the passenger seat.

PM me if you want. As yet, I haven't a clue if i'll be on or off road much in Libya.

My concern about libya is that alcohol is banned and so my bar could be a problem - might warrant a seperate tread.....

Great, I'll keep in touch and give you a shout when I've secured by departure dates, but your timing sounds good.

I also plan on no more than a week in Libya, just travelling along the coast in transit to Egypt.

I look at Libya as a booze detox period, and as such any more than a week on the wagon would be silly.
