Iran / Pakistan / India anyone out there ?

Well we have been travelling for 4 months now and seen only a few Portugese bikers and some Israeli ones. Is there anyone else in Iran at the moment ( we are in Tehran heading for Esfahan next week, Shiraz after that then the border ). Would be great to meet up with anyone else. Let us know where you are and when.

Dear Maarten

First, sorry for the late reply but we thought we had !!!

Today is the 29th and we are in Yazd at the moment - probably leaving on the 1st of October heading out of Iran via Kerman and Bam. We have met a German biker and are travelling with him also.

Are you coming this way soon ? We plan to hit the Iran/Pakistan border together - safety in numbers and all that.

Cliff & Jenny

Hi!
I am in Turkey currently, one day to Ankara, planning to cross Iran in November, too. Because I dont have my Iranian visa yet and the political situation, the idea of going around Iran doesnt sound too bad. Do you have any information considering this? Let me know!
Thanks!

Don't know exactly, had some Visa Problems (Iran) and have to return to Ankara to pick it up next week, visiting Kappadokia during this time, and after that head for Iran, so I will be there roughly the first week of November, but it should be no problem slowing down a little, as meeting for Iran does not sound all too bad..
Keep in touch!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
