Hi all
Am in the early stages of planning a trip prob starting in vancouver area then up to alaska and back down then across usa visiting various states on the way. was thinking prob aug time for three to four months.
Anyone planning a similar trip? would be happy to ride all or part of it with others or on my own if not.

USA Trip...

I'm in Hertfordshire. I've got a trip planned from Anchorage, down through Alaska. BC, Icefields Parkway, Crater Lake, Tahoe, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Bryce, Zion, Monument Valley, Mesa verde, Colorado Springs and then across USA via a few bits of route 66 to Deal's Gap, Shenandoah Parkway And Blue Ridge Parkway.

Approx 8,500 miles. But I would be aiming to depart earlier. August is too late from previous experience for a 3 month trip to start in Alaska...

let me know what you think...

Fantastic itinerary, but I imagine that will end up being a lot more than 8500 miles?!
