2008 Alaska to Mexico over 3 to 4 months
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the Forum / HU and the HUBB. Planning is at an early stage, I'm interested in taking 3 to 4 months next summer to ride from Anchorage to Fairbanks and then down to Mexico. Zig zagging back and fourth across the Rocky Mountain range. Two options: I'll ship over my R1200GS or buy a KLR650 (or similar) in Anchorage and sell it at the end of the trip (if some nice person lets me use their address to insure it). Would fly into Anchorage and back to Britain via LA at the end of the trip. Anyone interested in coming along? June to September roughly. (My previous experience is NZ, Europe in general and the North Cape of Norway.) Cheers.
