2 spare bikes for trip from Salvador, Brazil to Columbia
 

We have 2 spare bikes within a group of 4 for a trip from Salvador to an as yet undecided destination in Columbia...but probably Bogota. The available bikes are two Suzuki DR650s. The trip is leaving in mid April and should take about 3-4 weeks. The two riders already on board are Kiwis aged 60 and late 20's. I own one of the spare bikes and will be riding it on a previous trip and later trips.

The route is still under negotiation but will probably follow the coast from Salvador to Belem, boat to Manuas then north through Venezuela and into Columbia.

There will be a rental charge of course but it won't be nearly as much as you'll pay to ship in and out or rent locally.

Hi maltd,
I would love to be involved but I will not be able to make it until around the 7th May. I'm stuck out in Afghanistan till then. if the dates change let me know, I would seriously consider flying out and mucking in with what ever is on offer. I'm 45, an experienced tourer and ride a HP2 enduro so the bike would suit my taste.
what kind of rental price were you thinking of...?
