2 Germans would like to meet Canadians / people in Alaska

We are a German couple riding through Canada from west to east and later to Alaska, Southamerica and may be more.

Instead of "passing through", we would like to meet local bikers/motorcycle travellers here in Canada.

If you have a spot for our tent and like to exchange traveller stories, please contact us.

We would be happy to meet you and find out about the canadian way of (motorcylce-travellers-) life!

Right now we are in Manitoba.
We´ll travel through BC and Alberta for the next weeks (till end of July or mid August).
Then we go north to Dawson, Fairbanks and Anchorage.

Tips for motorcycle-meetings are welcome, too.
Though we are most interested in mc-traveller-meeting, we´d like to see other kinds of rallys, too.

cu you on the road

HU Mini Breakfast

You're welcome to have breakfast/o'night space here in Red Deer, Alberta on June 6. (A good gateway to the Rockies)

We've got about 20 folks from the Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer areas showing up.

Let me know if you're interested and I can send you more details.

Stephen

Halo,

Welcome to Canada.

If you're going to be in the Victoria area give us a shout. We don't have camping space but we sometimes do have a bed for visiting (non-smoking) motorbikers and cyclists. As you get closer to the area just contact us and we'll let you know if we can help you out.

Viel Spass.

Calgary Place to stay

Hi guys,

You'd be welcome at my place in Calgary. I love swapping biker travel stories. I could also give some advice for south america. It's 135 km west of banff and a good waypoint before heading over the US border in to Montana.

Good luck!

Mike

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
