Traveling Europe on Yamaha Xj600

Hi !
I'm thinking of taking myself & my Yamaha XJ600 Diversion for a trip
in Europe, starting in Greece, finishing in France. Starting point:
my Country, Israel. do anyone know some info or internet sites about recomanded Motorcycles tours/ routs or interesting roads out there? did anyone had a cross Europe on a bike? did anyone do that on the same bike of mine?

Please advise!, thanx

Hi Bary,
the xj900 is a good bike for touring in Europe. Travelling north from Greece there are only two safe options. First the ferries to Italy, second via Bulgaria and Romania. I donĀ“t know how the security situation in Albania and Macedonia is right now. The coastal road in Croatia is great and should be safe, altough the tarmac is slippery.
Wherever you see hills or mountains on the map, you will find great kurvy roads all over Europe. Enjoy it.

Hi Bary,

Good routes? Well we could be discussing that forever. If you head over to my web site below, you'll find lots of photos of Alps touring between the Dolomites and Switzerland.

There is a short description as to where each photo was taken. It'll give you an idea of what to expect.

Have a great trip.
