Were you at the HU Meet last weekend? Could've got one there - I did!

Great vid - well worth buying. I showed it to my girlfriend who is not at all interested in motorbikes, she sat through the whole thing start to finish - loved it!

Also gave her an understanding of why I am so keen on a similar trip - very handy.

The video is available only from Austin Vince at the moment, but I have discussed with him making it available via HU, and he is supposed to be sending me the data so we can post it in the books section. give it a week or so. I don't have his email address, we were too busy at the Meeting to get into that, but he has mine.

Great News for all adventure motorcycling fans!

Terra Circa is now available on DVD!

You may remember Austin and Gerald from Mondo Enduro (which is still regularly screened on The Discovery Channel).

Now they’re back! With another team of unlikely ‘bikers next door’ they ride across Europe, Greece and Turkey, Kazaksthan and Russia to become the first recorded motorcyclists ever to cross the gruelling 'Zilov Gap’, a 392 mile stretch of impassable track, marsh and river where the road across Russia literally runs out!

This DVD is a must for every ‘normal’ person who’s ever dreamed of a long overland bike trip. If you are planning a trip then this film will give you first hand experience of some of the pitfalls you can expect along the way.

Very entertaining and highly recommended!

Now available the whole series of Terra Circa on DVD for £19.99 or Video for £16.99 plus postage and handling. Write to with your phone number.

It's US$40 to the USA or Canada including postage and handling.

Make sure you tell them you heard about it from Horizons Unlimited and we get a cut - and it doesn't cost you a penny more. thanks, Grant

We received the Terra Circa DVD today.
We watched it this afternoon. It is great.
We had ordered it at the Horizons Unlimited meeting in Revelstoke, BC on Sept. 5th, 2003
We are very happy with it.
Does anyone know If was taken on film or video. The DVD is sharp with brilliant color.
We recommend it.

Just to be clear - the Terra Circa DVD says on it;

"The producers of Mondo Enduro present Terra Circa, around the world by motorcycle (6x20 mins). A 26,000 mile trip from London to New York unsupported. From the sunny plains of Northern Italy, the flyblown steppe of Kazakhstan, to the uncharted mud and swamp of eastern Siberia, crossing the infamous Zilov Gap, near the Chinese border - 392 miles of mud, rivers and swamp that has never been crossed by motorcycle... Follow the adventures of five ordinary motorcyclists who circumnavigate the globe."

Spud, just in case you (like I 'til now) hadn't figured whether there are 2 DVD's, there indeed are. Little confusing for those of us without Sky who haven't seen either 'series' on TV. I met the brothers and saw clips a year or so ago and have been after copies (cheers for the clarification Grant) for a while. If you go to the link above and dvd shop they are 2 different products.
Hopefully G&S can get twice as much something from that !
Now to purchase a dvd player.......

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
