Soft Bags?

Has anyone used Givi soft bags for extended touring? I bought a set for a tour through Montana>Arizona>Oregon. They are spacious, easy to put on-take off-waterproof, and light weight. I question if they have the durability to last 3 years and 70,000 miles. Any RTWs ever use them?
