Shipping motorbike from the UK to Canada.
 

I am planning a trip to canada in the next year or so with a freind. We want to travel canada for a year on our bikes, but we want to take the bikes we have now in the UK over there.
I'm finding it difficult to find shipping information on the net and want to now the best way to get the bikes to canada for as little money as possible (we're students!), whether by plane or shipping by boat or some other way?
Any information and advise would be brilliant.
