Sending new debit/credit card from UK to Thailand/Cambodia

Hi

I am travelling through Cambodia and will be in Thailand shortly. I need to get a bank debit card sent to me from the UK ungently and wondered if anyone has any experience in these countries, or any clever ideas.

I thought it would be easy through DHL but they won't touch credit/debit cards at all as company policy. I know I could just not tell them what was in the package but they say you have to leave the package/envelope unsealed for customs checking.

Can anyone help please?

Cheers.

Although I have not done this abroad but, in the UK, you can nominate a branch of a bank where you can have the card sent to and you go and collect upon presentation of your passport.

If you are with one of the major players like HSBC, you may well be able to ask them to do that. Call them and ask them.

How about Poste Restante - General Delivery at one of the central Bangkok post offices?
