It maybe mostly four wheels, but looks very interesting, and just take a moment to see who some of the contributors and editors are, Lois Pryce and Chris Scott from whom I have learnt sooooo much about overlanding on two and four wheels.

PS. I do overland on two and four wheels! Overlanding is overlanding, its a state of mind, not the number of wheels that counts.

Thank you for posting the link and for those that have subscribed. We are excited about the first issue, which goes to print next week. This is a "grass roots", independent publication, so thanks so much for the support.

Please let me know if there are any questions I can answer.

Sorry for the problem

Hello Sven,

I apologize for the difficulties with the subscription process. Unfortunately, our merchant services require certain fields, which can complicate some foreign orders. We are working on addressing the issue.

I have sent you an email to assist in completing the transaction. I will do whatever necessary to address the issue for you.

Regarding contact information on the website:

Here is a link to the contacts page: Vehicle-Dependent Expedition Magazine: Overland Journal

There is also a phone number and email address for customer service on the subscription page (left column): Vehicle-Dependent Expedition Magazine: Overland Journal

Again, thank you for the interest in Overland Journal and please forgive our growth pains as we work to bring this publication to life.

The premier issue goes to print next week. We are very excited

Sincere Regards,

The premier issue prints tomorrow. Thanks to all that subscribed, we appreciate the support (being a grassroots publication).

I thought some on the forum would like to see a preview section of the Overland Journal. This is an 11 page segment from the center of the magazine.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
