Ojinaga to Chihuahua
 

Has any one driven this road lately? We are planning to cross into Mexico here and go to Chihuahua stay i that area for a few weeks, if we can find a Spanish school. After that we will tour Mexico any thoughts or info would be great. Thanks and a happy new year to all.

I'm sure that road is fine, it's a main artery to US border. 2 hour ride to Chi from border.

Not sure about Spanish schools in Chihuahua, look on line? Lots of options in the area. Copper Canyon being most popular. Will be cold, maybe snow this time of year? (Creel is 8000 ft.) If you can get down to Batopilas, much warmer and you can ride dirt or back roads out to West coast/Mex 15 from there. (3 routes to chose)

If you like good twisty road, ride Mex 16 WEST to Hermosillo. LONG ride.
Or ... head South from Chi and be sure to check out Zacatecas, SL Potosi, Guanajuato and San Miquel de Allende. Great historic area of Mexico ... and so much more in that area. Will be COOL this time of year, maybe cold.
