Name Stickers/Decals for bike

You know when people are in rallies and they get their names written on the side or the car/bike...can you order them anywhere from t'internet? I googled and eBay'ed but nothing seems to come up.

Cheers

Thanks Julie, I think it was probably your bike I saw with them on outside Lumb farm yesterday?

Cheers,

name stickers on bike

Hi Chris..I see you got home after meeting...its Gary the Scottish South African with the XT600e I met you at the meet.

You can order your own vinyl stickers from any sign writer...but if you do make sure that after you stick them on to stick a clear piece of vinyl over the top to make sure they stay on longer and don't peel off, but put the clear on a few days after as the vinyl will shrink in the sun and great air bubbles under the clear..oh and ask for exterior vinyl it last longer.
Another Idea is that you do your blood group as well.
And another idea again is to get some stickers printed up by a screen printer say Black on yellow and have a supply made of different sizes.

The best way I know is to have a brother who is a graphic designer:

Hi Chris,

How was your ride up? Mine was bloomin' miserable, didn't get back to Dunblane till 8.30pm, seven hours of riding with only 2 breaks to fill up (the bike, not me!). Came up the A68 though which is a nice road.

A mate of mine is hopefully buying a DRZ this week so we'll be heading down to probably NOrthumberland or somewhere for a weekend of green laning soon if you fancy it. Will send you a PM when/if it happens!

Matt

Yes it might be - Julie Horne on my from mudguard on the KTM?

If so they only cost me about £2 each and the flag cost a pound or so from one of the bike shows.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
