Motorcycle Adventure Touring Book

I just finished reading Werner Bausenhart's second Motorcycle Adventure Touring book, "Into the Den of the Bear and the Lair of the Dragon on a Motorcycle".

His adventure this time, took him form London, England all the way to Vladivostok in the Russian Federation and back through China, Pakistan, Iran and Turkey before returning to London again.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as I did his first, "8 Around the Americas on a Motorcycle", which took him from Prudhoe Bay at the tip of Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in South America.

On both these adventures, Werner used his 1991 BMW R100 GS PD.

His third book detailing his African adventure aboad his 1999 BMW F650 from London, England to the Cape in South Africa and back should be out by January of 2002.

These books are available from Werner directly at bauswe@istar.ca or from Whitehorse Press. http://www.whitehorsepress.com/

- If motorcyclists claim to be individuals, why then do so many of them ride in packs?
