I went 'Gold'

I spend a lot of my time at work browsing this site, I have met a lot of good helpful people from it as well as clashing with a few, which got me 2 infraction notices and 8 points :nono:

A reply from a fellow traveller to a problem can save you money and time, and I thought that apart from keeping me nearly sane, I thought I'd give a bit back, thus, I decided to take a 'Gold' membership, being on the HU site is a bit like being in a motorcycle club and ask yourself, instead of what I can take out of it, what can I put back? even as a contributing member it helps keep the site running.
Where would we be without HU ?
I just hope I don't 'hit the jackpot' and get a points ban!!. :eek3:

Same with me, I was using the site so much I thought I ought to step up and make a contribution.

Gold is good

I have been gold every year for a while now, as well as spending a fair amount of time helping out on the HUBB, and hosting travelers and running four mini-meetings. It's all been great fun.

What I have learnt is that Grant and Susan are ice-bergs. You will only see a very small part of what they have to do to run this website.

Top marks to you Gold Members; you're making me feel like I'm a skinflint. Oh, OK then, I am!

Good bloody point... time to get the cheque book out.... just imagine if you tried buying this information in paper format...

I agree! :thumbup1: Thought I'd go gold just for the info and help I found just at a click away. Think there`s hardly a Stone unturned here!

Cheers Gav.

Don't forget that Contributing members feel exactly the same way.
