Yeah I heard about the sale of Fosters and VB. Fosters is dirty sheep piss though isn't it.

And I think the company who bought it are actually South Africa with just their head quarters in the U.K..

Not guilty
Yes Ted, Ive learnt that the brewing company has its head office in the UK.(Yes Fosters is shit, thats why nobody in Oz drinks it and we Export it!!!)

Oz will challenge you like nowhere else, with its diverse riding conditions and its SUICIDAL wild life, so limit riding at dawn and twilight.

As for Camels, in Oz we export these critters to the middle East, as we have millions running ferral in the outback.

These minor things shouldn't turn you off, we do have lots of straight roads as well as all the twisty bits.
See you soon

Cheers from Oz.

I second the Camino as a quick and cheap fix for post travel blues. I did it last year when I couldn't afford anything else, and had one of the best travel experiences of my life, and ended up spending nearly a year in Spain as a result. The camino is more than just a road - it shows you the way!

Unless of course you have a patella that is as wanderlusty as yourself. But if it's under control, I recommend it, as someone who had never travelled sans moto before!

Ted If you a willing to hire then S/E can be cheap
Hire in Cambodia (cheap flights from Bangkok) I saw many decent large bikes, a few well kept and new 500s 650 yammies, hondas etc if you want big. Then after doing the rounds of Cambodia travel through Laos Cheap again and not much traffic , one of my favourite places to ride. There are three entries into Thailand you gotta get lucky at one. if not there is still plenty to see.
Visas at most borders

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
