:clap::clap::clap: hehehe only an Aussie would admit this.

But that brings me to my experience. I miss the humour of home no where in the world has our humour. So i call my most obnoxious mate and let him just rip on me for a while.. and i feel better.

The thing i have found the worst thing about not being home, is that in the last 34 years of my life i have spent less then 15 years in OZ. and have spent too long in the US and the UK .. I have lost my Aussie accent, i now sound like a yank (or as my brother put it an american trying to put on an aussie accent.), so i have lost some of that instant association with other Aussies it is kinda sad for me.

I WOULD be on a bike but as Andy T points out, they're a tad too large. Total weight... equal to me! Side car just won't work at the moment. I'll have to wait on the bike post dogs which is another 5 years or so....

South of Ambato, Ecuador right now and I would change the thingy, but can't figure out how.... where's Grant???!!!

What an apt topic for me, the HUBB is always on target, it seems.

One month in to a RTW and it's my good (female: woot woot!) friend's birthday today. I ain't there. I'm ready to jump the border to Guatemala.

These sad times are coming and going. I'm looking forward to riding more. Strange (or is it?) but the riding is the good stuff, the stuff that keeps me centred. Sometimes I could care less about where I am going, where I am going to sleep. All I know is I am riding a sweet road with killer views, and I'm good.

Looking for better times,

Mitch
