I hear YOUR staring the sequel Ted.

Banged Up Abroad II when good bikers go bad.... 'The True story of one man's imprisonment for riding a duffed out battered old motorbike around South America for 6 months'.

Watch as he is beaten starved and gang raped by the guards, poked with sharp sticks by the local children for being a very stinky gringo, watch as he slowly turns to madness for comfort.

You taking Soap on a Rope on your trip?

Thanks for the tip TM. I thought it was pretty compelling for C5 and he came across with more humility than I've picked up from his internet chat so good on him.

I wonder how those 2 guys on telly the night before would have managed...

I'd read the book and was pleased that he actually came across quite well on the programme but for goodness sake, couldn't they have at least put the actor playing him on the right bike!!! (a KLR 650, not an F650)

Hey Ted,

Thanks for the heads up as I would not have watched the program and missed a great episode. How long have you got now before your trip?

Two weeks before the fun begins, when is your site going to be working as I lost the bookmark matey.

Please keep it updated when you can as I think it's going to be one hell of a journey and I've got about a year or so beofre I get overthere and it will be nice to see what I'm currently missing, if your taking a laptop like I did get a super spongy bag as mines rattled to death and is off for repairs I haven't even gotten to the hard stuff yet.

Ride safe Bud

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
