Danny Liska's book

Hello all.
I'm looking for a way to read Danny Liska's "Two wheels to adventure" a book that is out of print. and as "White horse press publishing" told me, it will not be reprinted. The late Danny Liska was a pioneering bike adventurer that wrote on his travel from Alaska to Argentina in days that such way of seeing the world was rare. I heard this book is one of the best written on the subject. I have a collection of 67 books on adventure biking. and I'm plannig to write one my self (in Hebrew). I found that Barnes&Noble are selling a used copy for mor than $700(!)
Is there a way I can borrow such a book? someone? any idea?
Thakns a lot

Adam, Yoni's email address is available by clicking on the mail icon.

You can enable yours in your "profile" by saying yes to "Keep your email address viewable to other users when you post notes?"

Better, just ask your questions here so everyone can benefit from the information.

I ran a search on Amazon for this book and they have a second edition listed for $59.95 US. Sure beats $660!

I ordered this book through Amazon and because of a screwup in the office mail I ended up with two copies. I am about to return one copy, but if someone here wants it I'll sell it for what I bought it for.

I paid 59.95 from someone selling them on Amazon as another post indicated. When I didn't get the book after 4 weeks he immediately sent me another one; didn't seem like it was scarce. I'm going to email him that I'll keep and also ask if he has more. It is a hard cover, says copyrigth 1989 with no edition number. There is a number 1 on the cover in the top right hand corner. There are more than one editions? Grant, I guess you are first. I will sell it a cost plus shipping.

I met Danny Liska in 1990 and bought his book direct from him, signed. Its a first edition hardback, published in 1989,printed in Columbia. Inside the front cover it says it is also simultaneously published in Spanish under the title, 'Dos Ruedas a la Aventura'by Relikassa Ltda, Apartado Aereo 22400 Bogata, Columbia.
His wife was Columbian, living in Columbia at that time and he had a ranch in Nebraska, and he flitted between Columbia and the U.S.

Tread warily, Grant, I bought some books a few years ago from Vancouver and had to pay a stunning amount in customs duty. That's all I remember- I can't even remember to who(m) I paid the duty i.e. at the far end or at this end. It could be, of course that you are familiar with this sort of thing, if not, find out where you stand in case you get clobbered.
Best
John
