Cool Confusing roundabouts

Well, I know there are some pretty mad city centre traffic schemes around the world (the Colleseum,Arc de Triumphe etc),but haa anyone come across anything like the British for for confusion design?
These roundabouts appear in hemel hempstead and swindon to name but two towns. They are smallish towns but have fairly heavy traffic flows.
Any madder traffic schemes out there???

Magic Roundabout

Ahhh.. Hemels Magic Roundabout... I know it well...

I think the only reason it works is cus everyone gets so confused when they get to it that no-one moves, and if they eventually get the courage to go their so frightened they only crawl around.

It's not confuing at all!

Look at it,and break it down into component parts.

It's a T junction with a mini-roundabout. Ooh b*gger me, another mini-roundabout, and another, etc.etc.. all very close together.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, Richard.

Milton Keynes

Ha! It doesn't sound like anyone's been lost in Milton Keynes!
...at the 9th roundabout take the 3rd exit, then 4 roundabouts further go right, then the next roundabout left, and then carry on straight for 7 roundabouts and take a right...
Made even trickier by the fact that almost all the exits look the same, so if you take a wrong turn/roundabout, using the next roundabout to go back on yourself can get you even more lost because you can't distinguish which road you used to enter the roundabout on!
Madness!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
