If you're looking for someone to fit panniers to your bike, make modifications for travelling, reinforce your sub-frame etc. then consider Ernie at Overland-Solutions. He's just completed an excellent job on my BMW R80ST - check out photos of his work and details of our trip on www.chasingthesun.org.
We leave the UK mid-September heading for India and would love to hear from anyone who's about to leave or is already on-route with any up-to-date advice. Lisa

Hi,
I'm leaving France for Pakistan and the KKH either the 8th or 12th september, don't know yet. My bike is an Africa Twin, 1997, 45 000 kms. I bought aluminium paniers from Tourateck. Still waiting for my iranian visa.
